Torah in a Time of War

Parents of college students and young adults are invited for conversation and learning as we continue to process difficult conversations and situations around Israel and antisemitism on campuses and in our families.

Time: 8:00 - 9:30pm

Location: Private homes (To be announced)

February 29: My Heart is in the East

How do I experience connection to the Jewish community in Israel and around the world, particularly in moments of challenge and crisis? How do I care for myself and my community in difficult times? How does a sense of responsibility emerge in moments of crisis and tragedy?

March 7: Jewish Wisdom on Responding to Tragedy

How might Jewish tradition provide wisdom in the face of tragedy? What is our role as members of a larger community when collective tragedy is experienced?

March 14: Conversations: Civil and Uncivil

When conversations become difficult, how might we stay engaged rather than retreat? When challenging discourse happens within a community or family during inflammatory moments, how do we remain unified?
