Tour of Eldridge Street Synagogue and the Lower East Side

Children and adults are invited to join us as we explore the lovingly restored 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue, the first great house of worship established by Eastern European Jewish immigrants in the United States. Then, we'll step outside to explore the Lower East Side, once home to the largest Jewish population in the world. Our guide will lead us to old synagogues, Yiddish newspaper buildings, socialist hot spots, and the best pickle shop in New York.
